I definitely recommend Self Suds to any and all in the Gilmer County area who wants a clean and safe place to wash their clothes-or just hang out and grab a snack and conversation.
Easily located beside a quaint country store and ice-cream shop and across the street from a nifty thrift shop-you can't go wrong with Self Suds.
Self Suds interior is welcoming and charming with style and efficiency.
Many of the machines are out of order and have been for quite some time. The change machine is also in disrepair, so make sure you've brought your own quarters. Rates recently rose from $1.75 a load to $2.00 as well, which seems to me a bit steep. Especially when you must share two or three working dryers with the entire community. That being said, their location is rather convenient and accessible, so I'd love to see conditions improve. It's a struggle to do my laundry frequently enough due to this and I think the people of Glenville deserve better.
